Can anyone give me a ballpark price for a Namco 500 GP in working condition, but with normal wear/screen burn. This has the projection monitor (I think there's one with direct-view monitors also). I've got an offer on the table for a trade...to be honest, I don't really have the room for it, but I have an empty bedroom and am somewhat considering taking it for the short term, playing with it, and getting rid of it in a few months.

It looks like this: http://www.coinopexpress.com/products/machines/driving-riding_games/Namco_500_GP_(DX)_1458.html

From some searching, it sounds like there is a Deluxe ("DX"?) version also - can anyone tell me the difference? I'm not sure which this is.

Also, any catches/gotchas on this game? I haven't found much info out there about it. Any info on actual dimensions/weight of it? Thanks!

that IS the DX version. In arcade-speak, "DX" just means "deluxe", which always have larger cabinets and monitors (typically 50"), for starters.

GP500 DX is a neat game, but was always a "filler" game even when it was new.

The $1k each the guy wants for his machines on CL isn't really out of line -- the games looks nice -- but keep in mind that mediocre DX games are hard sells, which is why they are often available fairly inexpensively. If it's something you plan on dumping in a few months, the price better be right. take note: he's been listing them for months.

Hmm, that's kinda what I'm afraid of. Any thoughts on what it would be worth at a price that would move it in a few weeks?

Also, does anyone have dimensions/weight/a manual for the deluxe version?
