Price check Ms Pacman

As always it depends on you, how bad do you want it. Then it depends on the game, if it works or not and how it looks. Id say

Fully good to go Ive seen them for $500

Other then that $300 then going down as far as looks, repairs and such.

Condition. Condition. Condition.

The screen burn, the wear on the paint, and the fading on the CPO/ marquee all make the price suffer. Locally, I've seen Ms.Pacs in average condition sit for $475 with no takers.

Now there's some people out there that think they have gold....

here's one for sale that was posted the other day in my area:

"This Mrs. Pac-Man Game is the Original. It's in great working condition. These sell for up to $3,700.00!" He the seller is only asking $1900, the game does look good and plays good but WTF...lol

Sounds like he's trying to scam somebody into paying brand-new "Class of 1981 20 Year Reunion" cab prices for an original game that should go for much cheaper...

Fully shopped we get 895.00 but that is cleaned and sanitize, monitor recapped if needed and new CPO and coin door painted and new lock installed and levelers installed

I've sold 5 uprights for $500 ea no problem.I have a ct that I haven't tried to sell yet not sure what to ask.

I bought mine for $450 with good art, good bezel, faded marquee, bad CPO, bad joystick centering bellows, minimal burn, complete (including coin box cover) sans manuals. I'm using it as my model for my restoration.

There are upgrades to keep an eye out for that will affect the price. If it's been converted to a switching power supply, that might mean more/less to you depending on if you're a purist or not. There are several multi boards and high score save kits that can be installed.

The monitor bezel is an important piece of the puzzle. I'll pay an extra $100 if the bezel is good. It's a hard to find piece and repros are expensive.

I expect to finish my ground up resto on my Ms Pac, and I'll re-sell my model with new CPO, marquee, and touched up side art. If I wait until Christmas time, I should be able to get close to a grand for it.

I paid $250 for mine 2 weeks ago. The side-art was in bad shape and the monitor seems a bit off, but the game plays fine, the cabinet is in good shape structurally, and the marquee and bezel were both good.

400-500 seems to be the price they "sell at" around here. You see quite a few of the ridiculous 600-1k for half dead cab ads but nobody ever goes for those.
