What a Dedicated Mortal Kombat worth. He said it was in very nice condition. Plays blind missing monitor chassis

Mortal Kombat I - Dedicated upright game $250-$350. Collector/ebay price

I paid $300 for mine and got a bonus MKII boardset with it. With a missing chassis, I would say $200 tops, even less if its a conversion cabinet.

If it's in decent shape it would easily fetch about $500 around these parts. If it's in really nice shape $800+ wouldn't be unheard of.

Cool im going to look in the morning. The guy is moving, and it has to go by tomorrow. He claims its real nice. Im hoping to get it for around $200-$250, So thats prob in the ballpark without a chassis:cool:

Most of the value is in the cab so I hope it's a nice one. The PCB and chassis are easy and cheap to come by.

Exactly I have a working PCB if that one has issues. Monitor chassis I might or might not have if its a k7000 I have a few.

Should be a K7000 or possibly 7400. Pretty cheap and plentiful chassis. As for the price, you've got it about figured out. $250 max is what you should pay, and that is only if arts are perfect. If it has so much as a 1" gash on the vinyl or sun fading, I'd kick him out no more than $200. These cabs are great. IMO this first MK had the coolest arts and cabinet shape (the angled front). However, most people want MK2. Once it was released, MK1 was forever made the lesser of the 2 classics.

$250 if perfect, and only $200 if so much as a 1" gash in the art? I know it's a buyers' market, but c'mon..that might a great buy if you got it for that, but I wouldn't expect someone to sell it for that, unless they needed a quick fix. The price could be all over the place and is really what someone is willing to pay.

He needs it gone tomorrow. He is moving. So I already know we are looking close to those numbers. Now its all about condition.

Absolutely. Now, if slight wear and fully working, $300-350 max. Which is roughly $100-$150 less than a MK2 brings in my area. Like I said, the sideart sells those cabs and if its got issues, price is coming down.

Ok picked it up. The side art is pretty much mint. WOW!!! The Control panel has MK2 art and some one had converted the CP it to a golden tee, and drilled a hole for a rollerball. The guy filled that and replaced and placed a plexi over it, with a new overlay it will look fine. Machine has a new Jamma Harness, that he was almost done installing, It also has brand new power supply, transformer, and joysticks. The monitor Chassis is gone. The machine plays blind.

I have been looking for a Mortal Kombat style cab for Mame, but dont think I can use this one its way to nice. Will prob get it finished and look for a new home.

Will post some pictures in a few minutes.

I paid $400.00 for mine which was a steal to me because at the time I could not find one less than $650.00 on ebay and would have to pay another $300.00 for shipping. I looked for one for months, ebay, craigslist, here. But finally found one and had to drive 7hrs each way for it but it was my grail and i needed it to complete my kollection of mk's. Its condition was 7.5/10 just minor fading.

Here are a few pics. Artwork will need to be redone on the CP.

Cool side art.

I'd like to pay $50. But if I was purchasing for someone who's interested in it. $200-300.

How come the CP says MKII??

It was a decal just like any other sideart or CPO. Should be able to come off.

This is a great condition cabinet. If I was an extreme MK collector, $250-$300 seems right for the cab, even with it's new arts and chassis that it would need.

Great job.
