What is a Mortal Kombat IV dedicated in very nice condition worth?

I had one in pretty good shape and I had a hard time getting $400 for it locally. I was very surprised as the MK4 PCB goes for about $200 alone. That said, I think $400-$500 is not a bad price if you want it for your collection. Anything under that is a great deal.

I'm guessing those boardsets are mostly going to MK collectors. The game wasn't well received and most don't care for the artwork. I've seen MK2 go for $300-500 and I'd take that over 4 in a heartbeat.

MK4 is nice because it has the extra run button so you can swap in MK3. I had a dedicated MK4, but didn't really have an attachment to MK4 cause I never really played it on route. It is fun for me though because it is almost like a brand new MK arcade game cause I don't know the moves and fatalities like I do for MK1-3. I had all the MK boards to swap in and out of the MK4. Then a dedicated MK3 came up for sale and I sold the MK4. Much, much better memories of MK3. :)
