Hello everyone

I just got back from the arcade expo here in Houston Tx. I saw a dedicated MK2 cab that was in very good condition, the side art was good only with minor scratches. The control panel was also in great condition, overall I thought it looked nice. But one thing that stood out was the monitor it had this coloration problem. For example I chose subzero and the top half of the character started to look purple. But it wasnt just the character is was top half of the screen, the colors were just not right. Now would this be a chassis problem, could it be fixed? Sorry I didnt take a pic of the monitor problem but here are pics of the cab itself.

I met with the owner and he said he wanted to sell it but for 700. Now I just want to know if thats a good price or a bit high? He first said 800 but I gave him a weird look, which brought him down to 700. I still think 700 is a bit high, would 550-600 be fair?

I'm here at the show. Looks like the monitor needs to be degaussed. If the built in degaussing coil won't correct it at next power on, you'd need to have it manually degaussed with an external coil.

And $500-600 sounds more like it.

Yeah 500-600 is a good range. I sold 3 in that price area. Also a cap kit for that monitor should fix the color problem if degaussing dont.

They do sell for $500-600 but you can get $700-800 easily for them. I've sold 2 UMK3s, and MK1, and an MK2 this year alone no less than $850 each.
