Hi everyone,

Just trying to see how much this Space Invaders machine would go for. The asking price is $725 which I think is a little much for just an average working Space Invaders with good artwork and cab.

Any info would be appreciated.

Thanks,

That does appear to be in really good shape. If that is an original CPO and bezel and there is no flaking, etc. And all sounds and everything else works, monitor is bright and crisp and doesn't need a recap, then I would not say that is a horrible price. The fact that SI was sort of prominent in the RPO movie might lead the seller to think he can get a little more than average.

I got mine for a lot less, but I had to send my boards out for repair, the cabinet feet need repair, the bezel is flaking, I had to buy a reproduction CPO, I still need to recap the monitor and haven't played it in years because the chassis is out. So...

Thanks for the responses guys.

I will probably dish out the extra cash for the multi game kit because it's just worth it since I have limited space.

Multi Kit for Space Invaders is fantastic! Quite a few really fun games in there. It breathes new life into a Space Invaders cabinet.

I'm a sucker for the classic Bronze Age games, and Space Invaders is the King of all of them.

Prices are going up on nice, working cabinets (like the Space Invaders on this thread). I don't think $700 is out of line anymore.

Best of luck.
