I checked the forums and it seems there is not a whole lot of pricing available for this game (I saw 150 for one with non working monitor). The game works and is in fair condition... sides are a little dull and there is one scratch. Art looks nice.. crack in the plaxi... missing the "how to play" sticker on control panel. What do you guys think?

$350 maybe? It should get more love than it does. Ladybug is an excellent game (Universal's best IMO) and their cabs look great.

I sold one to a guy near Nashville years ago. I sometimes wonder if I'm seeing a game I use to own. The one I had had part of the control plexi broken off and missing, I don't think this is the same one though.

seems like $250ish and the guy drove 2 hrs to get it. I put a lot of time/work into getting it fixed up - recapped the monitor, replaced some stuff on the original p/s, found a working board, and the cabinet cleanup was a lot of work. It has a rats nest up in the marquee area. If you figured my time into it, it was probably 'worth' more, but I suppose it was worth what someone was willing to pay, as they say.

I just traded for a near mint example. It is funny the marquee color is different. I never actually played the arcade version, but I loved the coleco version so much, I had to grab it. When I notice Ladybug for sale on here, they don't seem to demand a good price. I would say $200-300 depending on condition. You can't beat the trippie artwork. Someone must have been on something when they drew that art. I love all the universal cabs. They just stand out. Too bad the games didn't do so well. I think many of them are great, but you never hear much about them.
Here is a pic of the one I just got. Low plays and in awesome shape. Does nothing when plugged in. Hope it is an easy fix!!

I love all the universal cabs.

Hmmm... can we connect the dots and assume that you like to look at Universal cabinets while being on something then? ;)

I'd pay between $200 - $300 for a working Ladybug. I also grew up on the ColecoVision version, but did play the arcade original a few tomes back in the day.

Masco73: nice acquisition! Cab looks great, and as you say, you can't beat Universal's artwork, with or without help!

For what it's worth, eXidy's price guide says $300-$400. I would tend to agree. I would think any complete and working classic would be worth at least $300 for the monitor (assuming acceptable tube burn) and board set alone, unless the game is a total turd. Lady Bug is an underrated gem, in my opinion. And bonus: you get a Universal cab, and they're pretty cool looking.

Lady Bug and Mouse Trap are two of the most under rated maze-chase games ever made.

Most people would site Mr. Do as their favorite game by Universal. Not me. Lady Bug is my game of choice.

Got the Lady Bug machine!!! I love it! It does have a cracked marquee.. and missing the instructions plexi... also had a clear coat sticker covering the sides which had left sticky residue but protected the sides very well!

A couple questions if you all don't mind..

1. Is it possible to fix a cracked marquee? Or at least make it look decent? Any tips?

2. The clear sticker on sides... hair dryer to take off? What do you guys think?

I got it for a real good price... no screen burn looks like it has been capped. I really like the game.. very underrated... glad to have!
