What should I pay for a Jurassic Park in good working order but unshopped? Cosmetically it Looks like an 8 or a 9 out of 10. Oh, and I really want one. What price should I gun for?

That sounds about right.

I paid about 1800 for mine in extremely nice condition with topper and very nice playfield and cabinet, with a NOS flame-polished replacement ramp (since installed by me).

thanks guys... this is in my opinion one of the best regular dmd pinball games for the money... the obvious top 5 machines are out of my reach financially.

Why would you flame-polish NOS ramps? Isn't that usually to remove hazing from scratches?

Don't know - I didn't do it.

Maybe there was some hazing or scratches on the NOS ramp even though it had never been installed in a game. NOS does not mean "perfect".

It sure does look nice - like glass.

Had to cut/dremel off all of the old mounting brackets and hardware from the old ramp.

That was a royal PITA I can tell you.

Worth it though.

Do you have one that you are trying to get or are you just asking for when you do find one?

I sold mine for 1400 I think? I thought it was a decent pin but not a keeper for me.

IMO don't buy it sight unseen. The GI connections on mine were fried beyond belief (pretty common I think) and a real pita to get all the lighting back to 100%. And that frickin trex!!! Argh!!!

I bought one for $800 unshopped, and sold it for $1200 after I shopped it. This was a few years ago - not sure if the 2012 price spikes are affecting DE games like they are B/W games.

I sold one in WI for $1500 this year. I would expect to pay $1400 to $1600 for a another. Although, I don't think $1800 is out of the line for a nice example. I just wouldn't pay more then $1600.
