Pretty nice JK. CPO isn't too terrible, and except for one side at the bottom, the sideart looks quite good.

Boy, I haven't seen a nice condition Jungle King in quite some time (or Jungle Hunt for that matter). Thanks.

Not sure what to tell you on a price...

You should look at that in person and see what Dale will do. It looks pretty good but there might be some slight fraying of the MDF on the front left edge. There looks like there may have been a repair on that same corner at the bottom on the side. Since he asking for 9 bills, I would think be would go lowr than 6 or so. It looks like he put some work into it. Nice looking game for sure. Those Taito cabinets didn't normall fair to well.

I offered him $400 and was (as usual) denied. He did a $650 counter-offer, but I just couldn't swing that for a JK. (I don't want to chumpatize myself.)

I've been pondering changing my offer a lil bit (not that it would be good enough, I'm sure), but I haven't been able to decide on anything. (Hence the "price check" from the KLoV brethren.)

Yeah, always a tough call. Klov prices are usually on the low side. There is value in having somwhere like Dale where you can just get what you want. Of course you have to pay a premium for that luxury. Waiting out games is hard enough, but the location thing just makes it worse. Nothing like seeing what you want for cheap everywhere else. The bad side if being near Dale has to be the fact that he sucks up all games like a sponge.

You should ping him to see what he has that has not been "restored". If he has another jungle hunt that he has not put time and parts into, maybe you can still get a deal. You know he looks at the games up for auction and thinks about what he put into them too.

It IS a rather bad consequence. There doesn't seem to be many collectors here locally at all, and most of the time, any machines for sale are going to be sold by Dale.

And since he makes enough off of pins to sit on vids forever and a day, the vids are always gonna be priced WAY out of reach.

It's a bummer, man.

Dude come in and make me a offer and by pass Ebay. You ahve to factor in 11% with Epay on all offers so that 400.00 offer is rally 368.00/ Bring me 600.00 and take it home.

Yeah, you're right, those eBay fees are just too rough. That's why I went from selling all-the-time on there, to maybe selling one or two items per year at most. (Yay for Craigslist.)

$600 is better, but I'm not sure I'd feel good about paying that much post-purchase.

I still need to stop by there, though. At least to get in a game or two, :)

What's the shop's weekend hours?

We start weekend hours in Nov. 8-5 but if that is the only time you have and I am around call me and I will meet you and open up

I may have to do that. I work Monday - Friday, and it's a rare day when I get to leave before 7pm.

Hey Dale, what are the shop hours doing the week?

I might just be able to pull a fast one and leave the office early this week. ;)
