I am looking into getting one of these that has supposedly been shopped. I will check that out, but if it is, what's a fair price for it? I haven't been given a number yet..

Well, the guy with the Indy 500 did not get back to me, so I got different one I have had my eye on for a while:

Data East Last Action Hero

This one is in decent shape, was shopped in April, 09. The cab is going to need touching up, but the playfield is pretty sweet, although there are some word "stickers?" that cover the lights on the playfield which are worn at least half off. I want to replace those. But everything seems to work, even the electro magnets....

I have always enjoyed Arnold's movies, so couple that with 6 ball multi ball action, and I am stoked with my first pinball machine!!!!

nice find, I wonder know one has welcomed you here and congrating you on your first pinball machine, 6-ball multi-ball sounds fun....nice job!

Hi Steeelhorse, thanx, I am very happy with this pinball. I went to the IPMDB and found the game's rulesheet which is nicely written up, I never knew that there were so many "rules" in these newer games .. well it's not that new I guess, '93. But it is fun and challenging to try to hit certain targets within a small amount of time.

I need to get some playfield replacement stickers and some cabinet paint to really spruce her up.

But one thing I am wondering is, is there a way to program or otherwise install different music on these machines? I love Austrian Death Machine, and it woud be superb to have some of their tunes coming from the speakers!

On a side note, the guy who I got the game from had others, a bunch actually, and let me play a round on a few, including my first go at a High Speed, Pinbot, WB Enbryon and Jokerz. Pretty cool bloke, and really cool pins!

No way to install new music that I know of. There are some people that are doing custom pinballs and rulesets and making their own pins, but that's not something easily done. There's no simple way to do it. Put it that way..

Just play the music in the room while you play. You don't want to interfere with a game's natural sounds anyway. You could pull it off with a ROM hack, but it would be way more work than it would be worth to plug in something that was never designed to go with the game.

Congrats on the first machine.

Thanx for the replies, I pretty much figured it'd be a PITA to change the tunes. But I think it could be worth it to have, say, "Get To The Chopper" blast when you achieve 6 ball multi-ball! The machine goes nuts when that happens anyhow... And actually, I am not sure how headbanging and pinball would mesh... lol.
