I've been looking to purchase a taito Ice Cold Beer and was wondering what these usually go for so I can save up the cash for when one falls into my lap.

I like to own one of those someday but for some reason they never pop up for sale here in the SF area? seems like a hard to find game funny I see every now and then on craigslist "WTB" ice cold beer ads so I'm not the only one looking for one here.

sometimes you can get lucky on non working ones. i traded an old EM pin i paid $200 for for a dead ICB and $150 cash. took $20 in transistors to get it working again, so i made out well.

I'm pretty sure I've seen an Ice Cold Beer for $500 here in Ohio on CL lately. Let me know if you can't find it, and I'll check where else I may have looked and seen it. I was missing some side art I believe, but that's just a good haggling point!

If anyone has one for sale or trade in the Chicago area drop me a line.

I just missed one and another guy just totally wasted my time.

Thanks

Thanks for the help guys!! There's one on craigslist here for 500 as someone posted earlier. I was thinking about picking it up, but the guy had previously made a deal with me and then the day I was going to pick it up told me someone offered him 600 site unseen for the machine. Needless to say I was bummed, but not willing to pay 600 for a machine I had not seen except for grainy pictures. Well lo and behold two weeks later the guy emails me and said the other deal fell through and I can now have it for 500 firm. Again, I've never even seen the game and it is an hour away. I really want it, but my principals are getting in the way on this deal. I felt like he was just trying to milk more money from me before. What would you guys do? I figure I'll wait another month and offer him 250.

Kinda funny. He originally had it for $400 while I was on vacation. Told him to contact me when I came back and let me know if he still had it. He never called but there was a new ad for $500. I forgot about it until yesterday when I get an e-mail saying that someone was supposed to pick it up this weekend but the deal fell through. But I can have it for $500 FIRM. Gee, how nice of him!

This is a game I've watched over the years; go way up in price.

I remember a St. Louis SuperAuction a few years back where there was around 6 to 8 Ice Cold Beers and one Zeke's Peak. They were all in various states of non-working condition since the belts were brittle.

The prices (from memory) were $15 to $40 bucks, I bought the Zeke's Peak for $65 or so and it was in 9 out of 10 condition.

I realize it's been a while, etc, but it's about the only title that's moving up price-wise while everything else seems to be coming down.
