Hey guys,

Someone wants to sell their Gottlieb Shaq Attack pinball and I'm trying to decide whether to make an offer on it or not. Everything functions on it, except for a broken flipper. I'll have to put in overtime in shopping it though as nothing has been done to it in over 10 years.

I'm not a basketball fan so am curious what others on here my think the value of this pin would be.

Thanks.
Scott

Shaq is a one trick pony - the basket. Weak rule set and the audio tends to grow old fast.
I wouldn't offer any more than $500 in fear of playing hell trying to sell it off later. It's just not a well liked and/or popular title so ensure not to over pay.

Seems to be a fairly healthy supply of them available for sale - but not much demand.

In the midwest, they sell for less than a grand in good shape. When they sell, that is.

they sell consistantly fully working and shopped for $400- $650 tops. i sold 2 in that range and it wasnt easy. that was with new basket nets, new rubber, no issues, clean playfield, etc.

parting them out makes more $$$ than selling it as a whole.

i usually see them for about 800-1200 asking price working and nice. i would never pay close to that. id honestly buy a working UNSHOPPED one for about 450-500, clean it up myself, then HOPE to sell it to a homeowner because i never heard of a pinball collector who is LOOKING for a shaq attack.
