Around NY these are going for 850-1100' friend of mine scored last week off of cl for 400.00.funny thing is the posting was there for a week with no price, my friend contacted the guy and went to look at it never discussing price.when he got there it was full working but, needed shopping. He asked how much and the guy said 400.00, and drove it to my friends house 30minutes away. The pinball gods were shining on him.

Oops misspelled Gottlieb! Sorry. Kind of drunk when made post. LOL

So around a grand for this one?

Looking for my first pin, and don't want to buy a turd for to much.

That is one of Gottlieb's more fun late models. I know a guy who can help you shop it out if you get it. :)

There is a guy locally that has been trying to sell one off and on for $1200 fully shopped for years. He just can't move it. I have never played it but I hear the wheel gets a little old/repeatitive on this one...

I picked up mine as my first pin about two months ago. he wanted 1600 and i ended up getting it for $775. Pretty good condition overall. a couple of touchups on the cabinet and not the best of touchups but playfield and all else is pretty good.

another one came up locally about a week ago and he was asking $825 and said it was in good condition.

I really like the game. I will admit not as good as NGG but for a third the price it is worth every penny. Lots of shots to make.

So is $1100 to much? He wanted $1200 and won't budge more than a bill. I told him I was a player @ $900. He declined. UGH

Too much? You gotta decide.

If you pay $1100, enjoy it for a year and sell it at $800 - how would you feel? If you are completely comfortable with that, then it's not too much. If it makes you squirm - yep, too much.

If it's in nice shape, $1100 isn't "stupid" money. But as others have noted, it's not the deal of the week either.

Good luck with your decision!

if the playfield is excellent. (look for wear around the roulette wheel. and the back volcano upkicker hole.)
and the topper is excellent. (most i have seen as well as mine have cracked toppers, its just some kind of plexi glass i believe)
I may go up to $1000 if those are perfect, but unshopped i would think $900 is pretty fair.

I think I know the one that you are talking about. I almost pulled the trigger myself on it. I would go $1000 myself if he would take it. It's a good family game and once you play it a couple years you won't be loosing out if you sell it for a little less. Having a good shopped machine with all it's parts (topper) working is sometimes worth paying a little extra just to save you time and effort of having to fix anything. Once you're bored with it give me a buzz.. I'm a potential buyer of this particular game. It's always interested me as I really like the theme. It's not for everyone but this one has some good humor to it.

OH WAIT, YOU SAID IT HAS NOT BEEN SHOPPED... hmm.. This is not the one I was looking at then..
