He said it works , I haven't seen it in person though . That glass is scratched to hell . How much does replacement glass usually go for ? Theres a glass place by my house that makes any custom size you want . A new Galaxian underlay is $40 .

as soon as you think about putting an underlay and glass, you no longer have a chance of turning a profit on the game at $150 to start.
so... hopefully it's a game you want to play and keep

Glass is about $60 usually. Glass shop may be cheaper. $150 is a great price if it works. You can't touch a working cocktail table in So. California for that price. I paid $65 for a space invaders that needs to be gutted, cleaned, painted, and all electronics replaced...definately a project. I would gladly pay $150 if just the monitor worked on that galaxian.

Too bad you're not here in New York. :)

I wouldn't buy it. I hate the repro underlay as the colors are totally wrong and it looks like ass. Now I would pay $400-$600 of one that is near mint or mint with a near perfect or perfect original screened glass. Of course that would have to be local. If someone reproduced the screened glass with the right colors it would make this machine more desirable imo.

So the original Galaxian CT's have a screened glass top and NOT a cardboard underlay with regular clear glass on top ?
