Have only seen 1 picture and it looks like it is in nice shape with side art and it works.

That Portland seller is widely known thru the area as the 'junk dealer of the century". I'd pass tatom.

If it's working why is the screen blank? it should look very similar to Galaga. Dark in color(black) with the sprites on the screen, not light in color without any images. The sideart is Dragon Spirit too. The art work is unavailable. I would buy it for alot less than $600 and change it back to Dragon Spirit. Which I do have a PCB for it. Then you just need to find the CP with the right CPO unless it's under the Galaga 88?

If the board set is working I would go $400-450 since it doesn't have the side art.

As far as the monitor goes it uses a Sanyo like the Nintendo cabs. They are abundant out here, but I don't know how easy they are to come by out your way.

There's a Galaga 88 at a local pizza place and I think its original. I wonder if the owner would ever selll it, but the monitor is pretty shot.

And if anyone wants to sell dragon spirit, LMK.

I know the sellers history very well and I made him a offer and he said NO!!!!!!

This is what happens when someone price checks... you basically are fishing if a CL posting is a good deal, more often than not.

Yeah? So? Is that some kind of party foul around here? Seems like a perfectly valid question for an arcade collector forum. The game is local to him and is for sale somewhere other than KLOV. This is the biggest, most well-informed community of arcade collectors on the internet. What's wrong with doing your research here and price checking to ascertain fair current market value? It's not like he posted it in the for sale section or anything.

i picked up mine in a DS cab (painted black, no art) for $250 working from an arcade that was selling surplus games a couple of years ago. it was listed on CL in the main sale ad several times before i finally e-mailed about it.

great game and it seems like collectors love having the board around to swap but the full game even in the correct Atari/Namco cabinet isn't in the same high demand. if it works great $400 is a decent deal, and anything under that pretty awesome.

that also isn't the correct joystick; those cabs should have a black Atari micro-switch stick.
