I picked up what I beleive to be a fairly rare gun for the Exidy 440s, it is from a Clay Pigeon I believe, it has solid wood gunstock finsihed and an ornate metal inlay on it, was this used in Cheyenne too? its pretty cool. I am deciding whether or not to sell it or keep it for my multi Exidy but I have a Crossbow cab so it may look funny. I am just trying to see what these go for, or if any of you have ever bought one, I just cant even seem to find a pic of one... thx in advance for any help you might give me...

I don't think I've ever seen that gun before. Way cool! Does it say Exidy on it anywhere? I think the traditional black on black or woodgrain 440 guns go for anywhere between $50-$100. I agree that if you have a Crossbow cab that it might look a little out of place on there, but it would look great on a Cheyenne IMO. Cool find.

yea, I cant even find a picture of it, no flyer available for clay pigeon...it has the same lower mount housing for the exidy guns, every pic I see of Cheyenne has the black on black gun, any clay pigeon kit owners want to chime in, is that what came with the "KIT" (1986)

I think that would look great mounted in the Star Wars chair! Oh wait, wrong thread :D

C'mon ZEN, give your son his water gun back and stop fooling these guys, lol.

Well, I have spoken to a few folks about the Exidy 440 series in the last few days, and it sounds like most stuff after 1985 was in kit form to fit crossbow/cheyenne, however there may have been a few factory built clay pigeons, likely less than 100 per one klovr. I kust really want to know if that is what I have here. The reason I titled this price check originally is because I had an offer to buy it five minutes after I got it, now I just want to know. I have received a handfull of pms from folks wanting it but if I do sell I wouldnt know what to ask, ill mess with that later. Anyone out there have one on a game? Photos?

well its NOT a exidy gun for sure.. first off the mounting ball or whatever you want to call it isnt the way an exidy gun is... the stem on the ball housing is to small and upsidedown... Looks to me like its from a EM game...

The WHOLE mounting stem is totally different so to say!

I just found what it its from allied liesure Clay Champ!! Not an exidy 440. Thx for the input, im wondering whats inside this thing now....
