Looking to pick one up. there are so few Drag Lairs 2 out there for sale- hardly ever that I see.

what is a fair range for a 100% working, nice, clean one? maybe not minty perfect but very solid?

thanks guys!

Expect to pay around a grand for a nice, working one.

Really? I'd think you could get one a lot cheaper. It's certainly not as rare as an 80s laser game, the parts are still highly available. One word of advice - be sure you want a trophy machine. Laser games look neat, but they sit idle, playing their attract mode sequence to death until all those words are involuntarily burned into your brain. I'm a big laser fan, but I noticed mine just sat. Their replay value is short-lived.

I was pretty surprised on the costs for this machine.

My buddy picked up one that was converted to a NBA JAM. In his process to restore it with vinyl sideart, new cp, disc player, marquee, etc, etc. He spent a grand alone just on the parts. Crazy how the costs add up on this machine.

Now, there will be DLIIs out there at a lower cost- but they easily will not be as nice as his. Figure a mint one is gonna have to be around $1000-$1200. A nice, generic one with minor issues like cuts, wear, or monitor issues could run upwards of $800. A lower end one with a broken disc player can still seem to gather $400-$600.

I think the last one I saw here was selling for $550 rather quickly.
