Hey guys,

Looking at a Donkey Kong cocktail. Woman wants $200, I am trying to get her down to $150. She says it works fine, coin mech and all.

Here are some pictures:

What do you think? A worthwhile addition to my collection?

Decent price....but a crappy cabinet form for Donkey Kong. 13" monitor and horizontally mounted joystick make it a real challenge to play. But buy it for that price....or less if you are lucky.

I'm not a fan of the cocktail version, either.

That being said, this looks like an excellent example of one condition-wise.

The woman is about 90 minutes from me, so I am going to see if she can do $150 so at least that covers gas and 3 hours of driving. How bad can it be for $150?

Thanks for the input guys.

That is a very fair price. FYI, I had a DK cocktail and ended up selling it because the angle of the control panel makes it uncomfortable to play.

See if she will take $150. Doesn't hurt to try. If that doesn't work, agree on $200 anyways. Either is a great price for nice DK cocktail.

I paid twice that much for mine in about similar shape (mine was missing part of the coin mech and the coin door lock, but otherwise complete and in good shape), so I'd say $200 is a pretty good deal :) Hopefully she has the keys for the locks (replacing the one for the table top might be a pain). I don't mind the angle of the control panel, and I like the short travel of the smaller jump button compared to the standard button used in the uprights.

Agreed, that is a good price.
