Price checking this for a friend. There's a sad story behind it, but that shouldn't influence price estimates.

Cosmetics: It's a super clean working upright. There appears to be no water damage whatsoever. Control panel and cabinet is a little dusty, but all artwork is original and present, with not too much more than the tiniest of dings or scrapes on the side art. Control panel I believe had some wear on the edges where people would lean against it or rest their hands.

Electrically: Original suitcase power supply has been replaced with a working switcher. Monitor definitely needs a cap kit, as the image appears to be washed out but solid, overall appears to be the original monitor. Audio and amp seem to be loud and proud. No real distortion or issues with sound that I can discern. Light fixtures all seem to be working (marquee, translight, and black light).

Seems there have been so few sales of any DoT machines that even coming up with a market average seems rather difficult.

Thanks in advance.

Thanks for those estimates, guys. That's more or less what we were guessing, so some affirmations of that are helpful. If anyone else has seen one sell recently, posting a price here would still be welcome and appreciated.

Thanks, guys!

Sounds like a real upright rather than a cut down edot. Not sure if one version is worth more. I would think the cut cab might fetch a bit more since it would have chaser lights and speech. But the real ur has the 3d marquee and people have added speech to them.

But as for a price you could guess $2k-$3k+ and that as good as any. Anything dot or edot tends to not come up for sale often. Generally, the UR's are worth about 1/2 of a complete edot.
