Price check Demolition Derby

I just paid $200 for a complete non-working upright in good physical condition with nice artwork and working monitor.

I still say its all relative to what the buyer will give. Is it your grail? Are you really fond of old B&W games?

Also, is it working, what condition is it in, water damage, flaking backglass, is it complete?

Someone might say "this game is worth $375". Well...not if anyone is willing to pay that price its not.

IMO a nice Demo Derby in good working condition I would probably pay $250-$400. Other collectors here probably wouldn't give that much if they are not into the old black and whites.

I think that's the wrong game. He seems to be talking about the UR Demolition Derby from Bally / Midway. (I know the one you're talking about, though.)

The Bally machine: great graphics, nice looking UR, and a fun game. I'd shell out $400-$500 for one in excellent shape.

Ahh...gotcha. I forgot about the later Midway version....

If it's the Bally machine, it'd be nicer to have the 4-player stand-around version if you have the room. And I'd understand if that machine commanded a higher price. But the UR was the first game I ever owned, and it was nicely presented and put together.

I think the steering wheels are supposed to be a bit "wonky" when they turn to simulate a junker. Or were mine just put on wrong? :D
