So I went to see a daytona twin today...One of them was working, sort of. The other wasnt connected, guy said it works but didnt connect it yet...Going to go back in a week or so when he gets it running.

The cabs are in average shape (banged up but complete and the CP, shifter, seat plastics are all complete and not cracked).

The 'working cab' monitor looked very good but the game was playing with major errors. Sound was 100% but there was some issue where the road was virtually non existant but would flash in and out in polygons...Kind of like wicked pop up issues. Not sure if thats a processor issue or just a bum rom...Either way, not sure of the cost to fix it or complexity.

Assuming the second cab does get running, what are peoples thoughts on price?

make sure both sides and feedback works.

If both boards are doing that (quite likely) it's worth very little. It's a very common problem for the gfx to disappear but the game will still seem to work--often just a solder issue on the surface-mount ICs. last I checked Daytona pcbs are around $400 each (and there are two in a twin), and a twin often sells for about it's part-out value or less if it isn't in top shape.

If you need repair, this is who you send them to:

No idea on avg price for repair, but surely less than replacement PCBs I'd figure.

I would say whatever you're willing to pay for it as a whole or in parts. You should have a mental checklist and check things off as you go down the list adding to the total price as you go along. Assuming both are working with graphic issues I wouldn't pay more than $200-$300.
