Anyone know what a Crisis Zone "compact" goes for?

Definitely pass.

In my opinion, the used gun games that are worth decent money are the House of the Dead series. As far as collecting goes, HOD 3 and 4 are priced beyond what most collectors are willing to pay.

I saw a working HOD II a few weeks ago for $900, and that was not a bad deal. Seen a few for somewhat less but they were in worse shape.

In the most recent issue of Replay, the four HOD games are all in the top 10, which is pretty amazing considering how old the first two are.

The local selling one is asking $800. Pass.

Ha Ha, yeah pass. I paid less than that when we bought ours 6 years ago.

Bingo. I think that's about the average. You can get them under $200 at any auction, but outside of that, $350 is on target. Gotta make sure the gun works since it's pricey--maybe that's why they go cheap at auctions.

They are pricey because they use a ccd camera and the gun shells are around $150 for each side. They are also temperamental, it doesn't take much to throw the optic off. They need to be in darkness. Florescent, neon and blacklight lighting will throw off the camera. When we had it in our arcade we had to change the lighting because of it. We would have it in one spot and it wouldn't work, move it 5 inches to where it no longer had a glare on the screen and it would work just fine.
