Centipedes use to sell in my neck of the woods for a solid $500-$700 a couple years ago. $500 seems to be top range these days, I'd say as low as $350 for a 6/10 working cab.

Damn you arcade market!

The game is worth it if you get it for a price you're happy with and you enjoy it. Completely up to you. I'd like to own one, but only if I landed it for a smoking price, and only if it had great sideart.

Watch for water damage down low. They're old machines, they were produced in great numbers, and it seems most of them I've seen have been around the block on swelling.

Condition is key. I agree with $300-500 if the game is in overall good shape. Most every one I have seen though has lots of wear on the CP, worn out trackballs and so on, which obviously decreases the overall value. Another thing to look for is whether or not its saving high scores. Most Centipedes Ive seen dont have swelling as bad as many other Atari games I have seen, but thats probably just coincedence.

Parts are easy to find and usually affordable. If its a good buy, I'd go for it.

It's one of my favorite games. The cabs are usually pretty solid and like they said above, lots of parts are available for this game. I got mine for $33! Of course it looked like this:

But eventually was turned into this:
