A little backstory.

This is the only picture I have of it. It's about 6 hours away. The price on these things seem all over the place.

Exidy: $1200-$1800 (assuming working and decent shape, original bat stick, etc?)
Usual sale price here: $600-$900
Saw one at Zapcon with jrok board: $500

He has posted pictures of the game working, but now he says when you turn it on you get gibberish on the screen, but it is all original. I'm thinking the batteries have leaked.

What is a good offer price? He was asking 600 and showing the game without a picture on the monitor, and 800 showing the game with a berzerk picture on the monitor. I was thinking lower, especially if the batteries have leaked.

depends on how bad you want it and if you plan to multi berzerk it when you get it. It probably has leaked batteries. But if it was really working, then it could be cold solder joins or bad cables.

not working, I think max is $500. since it does not had the original stick, maybe a little less. how are the sides? does the glass bezel have flaking artwork, carved up, or is it good?

When looking at the other picture it shows the high score table on the screen With F's. so it seems like the battery has been removed so maybe that's something positive. the control panel overlay is not good, some of it is removed and scratched up. I have not seen the sides yet the other picture he took is basically the same stance where you can't see the sides.

I just primarily care about berserk, but frenzy would be interesting to play.

I think with no acid damage on the MPU and the sides are reasonably intact I would offer 500 to 550. if sides are damaged or painted maybe 100 bucks off and definitely if the MPU is damaged I'm going to rip all that out and put in a jrok board, so probably down to 300ish.

So I think somewhere between 300 and 550 depending on the unknowns. thanks so much everyone!

If the MPU isn't too bad I have a plug in board I developed a few weeks ago for my Berzerk board set. It just replaces the Z80 with a plugin board. It has rom/ram on it so the originals can be removed and the ram is a non battery NV type.
It has an on screen menu which allows selection of both Berzerk versions and Frenzy and control of the dip switch settings. The other advantage is that all the addressing on the MPU board is bypassed so even if this section of the board is faulty the games will still run.

Can you PM me info on that board?

That's a good question.

If you can post it here too, that'd be cool. I know of Spaeth's thing a while back. Is it that or something different?

NVM: I read your post with more detail. Can you post info about that?

Here is a pic of the board plugged in to an MPU board and a pic of the main menu.
I have just started talking with a well known supplier who may handle USA distribution.

I don't think I'm going to get it. After several conversations back and forth (and none about price even yet) we have a very small window to pick it up, and he will be out of town that weekend.

So we may never know how much it sells for. If someone else wants it, it's on Offerup in Hesperia California.

Thanks for the info guys, and sorry nothing came to fruition.

However on the positive side, I'm getting one of the JROK berzerk boards, and if I like it, I may just build a Dynamo 25in monitor HS-5 berzerk. lol
