Price check: Bally Lost World

After checking out the CL ad...

Centipede seems decent - just need a control panel overlay, but looks nice otherwise.

The Lost World backglass (which is a focal point on that game) is ROUGH. Missing big chunks of paint near the credit/match area, and severely delaminated throughout the rest of the backglass. You may be able to seal what's left, but if those big missing chunks aren't intact, and laying on the inside, it's not going to look pretty regardless...

Cheap enough, but that Lost World is indeed a project given the flipper issues mentioned, and that backglass may not be easy to replace..

You're likely to pay $300 for a good non-flaky backglass for the Lost World.

i know where there's one nearby
dont think its worth it, unfortunately

needs displays, boards, head
a few inserts on the playfield are missing

playfield is pretty nice
too bad. would like to save it but i think the present owner wants 50 bucks for it. maybe could get it for free but even then i dont think it's worth it

looks like a fun game

I checked them out today. You were right about that backglass. It's in very bad condition. The lady is really anxious to unload the thing. We came to an agreement on the Centipede and I jokingly offered to take them both for $50 less that I was paying for just that one game and it looked like she was actually considering it. I was afraid she would and then I would be stuck with the thing!

Honestly, it would be nice for someone to fix it up but there's a lot of work. The playfield is worn as well. The displays work and I'm sure there's a lot of useful parts for someone. I'm sure someone can take it for $50 based on my convo with her. $25 maybe even. She's having a garage sale this weekend. I just couldn't stomach moving and storing the thing even for free.

I find it really boring to be honest. I have one in the basement, and it rarely gets played. It also rarely boots up, so that could be another reason why, LOL.

So...
You should sell me the Lost World and throw in the BK and then the drive would totally be worth it for me ;-)
