Picked up a Bally Eight Ball Deluxe a couple of weeks back and have now gotten it working. Wanted to inquire on the fair market value these days. I appreciate it!

Bally Eight Ball Deluxe (not LE version) working 100%

Cabinet - 8/10 (no cabinet fade at all...few minor knicks and scrapes, has pin protectors on legs)
Backglass - 8/10 (has been triple thicked)
Playfield - 6.5/10 (has some wear spots around top and main playfield area has been touched up)

Plastics are in great shape...one larger plastic where the 8ball target is cracked

Has Alltek Ultimate MPU installed
4 of 5 displays are original and have no burns...one display is a new pinscore

Has been cleaned, waxed, and rerubbered

Last year I paid 700 for one that needed shopped. It has mylar overlay but a lot of playfield wear underneath. Took about 500 in repairs (some boards were burned badly so I had to replace some).

If I were to sell it in cleaned up 100% working order I doubt anyone would pay over 900 for it.

I have seen them in the 1000s range (midwest CL) but don't think they are selling.

man these prices are all over the place. Pics are on my flickr page. The touch ups were not done by me and are somewhat ameteur...they look decent. A lot the playfield is still mylared (flaking mylar in a few spots). I'll selling it on Saturday but I'm starting to get attached to the game! ha :)

Thanks for the input

I've played a ton of different pinball machines in the past year from all eras up to new sterns.
And right now EBD is about the main one i'd want to own.
The family gathers around it whenever it is turned on, then it got moved to the daughter's house.

I have a super minty BK in the house and no one plays it but me.
EBD is a great title for the price in my view.

arghhhhhhhh you're killing me. Arghhhhh

I know. crazy isn't it. but sometimes a title just comes together with all the perfect elements of a great gaming experience. and that title has it. goals are clear and challenge you like a carrot on a stick. and the field isn't too fast so you have time to think out a game plan.
even the 2yr-3yr olds understand it and love the guy talking to them.

I've found myself playing that game for 45 minutes when i can't get the X5 multiplier bankshot accomplished.

it's a magic hard to describe when a pinball is perfect, eh? TZ and addam's family are like that for the older crowd.

That's my grail pin. I grew up playing it. Here on the West coast they are seldom seen under $1500 for a decent specimen.
