Well it looks like I'm fixing to break my $150 rule for the first time since adopting it 6 months ago. So I'm gonna be a wuss and ask for psyche support.

How much would you pay for a fully working all original grade A (1980 Cinematronics) Armor Attack that needs nothing but new t-molding to be an A+?

Fellow golden agers only need apply.

$450-$500........ More if its a Rockola...

yeah, if it's A+ condition with some new t-molding at least $450-$500; might be able to find some collectors who would pay more. not a dime-a-dozen game and rare to find in nice shape. i believe the tubes in these sometimes suffered the same fate as the ones in Star Castle and slowly dimmed over time with no hope of repair.

You can buy new tubes for them. I would pay around 300 if I had to ship it and 600 if my neighbors had it. That condition is tough to find.

I have over $600 in mine after buying it empty and rebuilding it, so I agree with these estimates. The side art has not been reproduced so side art condition is important. It seems to take second place for the most collected Cinematronics black and white vector, the first is Star Castle. I've never had the urge to sell, so the game is a keeper in my collection.

I'd be all over a nice working Armor Attack for $500. It's the one Cinematronics vector that I'd like to add to my collection.

Well, since I played the hell out of it as a kid back in 1982 and have been looking for it since I got into this thing full swing 3 years ago, AND because I love the whole vector thing and hope to someday have EVERYTHING Cinematronics, AND because this one is as pretty and original and fully functional as I said it is (it had been inside a home for the last 17 years, per the previous owner, and I actually believe her), I agreed to pay $550 AND to drive 400 miles round trip to Galveston to get it.

AND since you guys were kind and honest enough to share your earnests I feel pretty damn decent about the whole dang thing.

I'll get some pics up after the T-molding comes in.

Now I'm back to the $150 rule, again. (At least until the next time).

Well worth it my friend. Some games are just justifiable to the point of crazy and for me this is one of them. Very nice score and the price is right as far as I am concerned.

+1 If it is the shape you described it was worth it. Let us see some pics of this fine specimen now. :)

If I ever get two consecutive days off from work I'll get some pics up. I'll admit the thing needs some Windex/409 treatment but I'm pretty sure you're gonna be pretty impressed. I'm not sure that taking a time machine back to 1982 and the Kroger's supermarket would yield a better specimen.

I'll aim to have a couple of pics posted by next weekend.

Lemme kill off this thread....I have a decent working Cinematronics Armor Attack for sale in the Chicago area. $400. Step up an buy it of you're in the market.

I'd pay that, but I'm thinking shipping to Central Florida would be ridiculous. Seriously I want that.
Any idea on the shipping cost?
