I picked up a couple more games from a warehouse today (yet another Defender and yet another Asteroids for those keeping score at home) and noticed there was an Akka Arrh amongst the games. Just curious what something like that would go for.

Probably a fair amount of cash. I never heard of this game.

VAPS says there are only 2 prototypes of the game.

Yeah and it says in that article that the same owner owns them both. But VAPS shows 2 different owners. So is this a third? Or is it somehow one of these two that just showed up near me by coincidence you think?

And it sounds like if I can pick it up for say, $500 I should probably do it right? :)

Oh it was really there. I didn't get any pics but I can try to in the next few days if you want. I didn't ask if it was for sale. It looked complete though and in good condition. Not perfect but nice.

If it were I and I had the money then YES Id grab it, for me Id hate to say no and it go to the garbage or something. Plus the cool factor of having a prototype game would be worth something. Also one day maybe a museum would want it..BTW the cabinet looks crazy cool.

Yes pick it up ASAP.

You do realize everyone is now on the search for said warehouse. I hope it's still there when you go back.

I can guarantee you that it's not for sale. I sold one of my two machines for a number in the 5 figures. That machine is In the warehouse for a repair.

Ah, now the truth comes out. 5 figures ain't bad. Nicely done. Especially if it's in need of repair. :)

There were also two Aztaracs, a Q-Bert Qubes and some other relatively obscure titles like that in there. Must be a collector of some means.
