So everyone, I just thought I would check to see what the group thought a Tron would be worth. I found one today for sale. The game was a 8 or 9 out of 10. While the sides and possibly lower front cp marquee may have been a little faded, the monitor looked awesome and upper cp was very bright but may have been slightly faded. Can't say for sure since mine was faded long ago and I haven't seen one with the new repro stuff yet. Anyways, the cab itself was perfect. Doesn't look like it has ever seen water. Or has ever sat on the ground without the casters. This cab looks like its been in someones house for the last 15 years. So my question is this. What do you all think an immaculate Tron game thats all original is worth in this market. This guy was asking 1200 for this one and I am pretty sure thats a little steep. And before I make the guy an offer, if anyone in East TN really wants one and is willing to pay 1200, I would be willing to pass on the info. Otherwise, I may try to buy it and resell mine. So what do you think.

That is way too much. It would have to be fully restored for that price. Sounds like a 500 to 600 Tron to me at the very most. Maybe 700 if you really love the game, its close and you have the cash.

I've been watching the prices for a while now and they are all over the map. The range is about $400 to $1200 or more, so $1200 is on the high side unless it's completely renovated (new art, new monitor and/or power supply). You can do a nationwide craig's list search to see what others are going for around the country: http://www.google.com/#hl=en&safe=off&num=50&q=tron+arcade+site:craigslist.org+-wanted+-wtb&aq=f

There are also a couple of decent Trons on ebay right now so you can use those prices as comparisons after the auctions end.

I was thinking 700-750 myself. I know I would want 700 for mine if I were to sell it and wouldn't even consider it unless I bought the replacement. But, mine has a crisp Wells K7000 monitor with remote board and a switching power supply in it. Heres a pic in I took with my camera. It doesn't do it justice though.
