What is a good price for an addams family that needs some electrical work, solenoids, wiring lights? Cosmetically good

on craigslist in cedar rapids, ia this week there was one that needed work for 2800.
it only lasted several days.

one in minneapolis shows up for around 3950. unless it's a different one each time, that one doesn't sell.

if i were in market, i would expect to pay up to 3200 for a really nice one in midwest.

people seem to be enamoured by this title so i think the opinions are a bit biased.

that one needed some parts. the tally in my head was figuring maybe 300 in parts-sight unseen.

so 2800+300+gas=3175.
i thought it was too much. but somebody didn't as it got pulled fast.

if needing work means just some cheap TLC like rubber and lights and a couple transistors, playfield is perfect. the 2800 sounds good to me.
I'd buy in at that price considering the current market for reselling later.

TAF is a machine that will only go up in price, If you can afford $2800 I would give it to the guy, but here in MI they seem to not come up that often...

Up here in Oregon and most of the Northwest they come up every so often, but not too much.

I have seen some pretty nasty routed ones go for 2,300-2,500 but they had some lovely magnet burn.

Some non-shopped, but nicer ones hit the 3,000 range and I have seen, non-CQ, but still really nice ones go for 3,500

Sounds like $2800 is too much for one that needs work but $2400 - $2600 would be tasty.

Where was I for the $3200 one? LOL

Normally I wait for newbies from the area to post some ridiculous prices but I must say - well done sir well done.

A decent TAF is going to run $3K+. TAF is indeed an immortal title that is not only a so called TOP 10 or A list game but it's also one that continues to increase in value (unlike Lord of the Rings) which go figure...I have one of those

Well, when you get tired of the price dropping, let me know? ;)
