So I've still yet to fix my sync issues with my G07 in the pac, and today it finally just won't get a normal picture back...I have no idea what to do. B+ is right on spot, and adjusting the other pots do nothing, other than distort the already fucked up picture. I've checked R303, 306, 314, and 317, they are all 388 ohms, reflowed the video sync section, and even tested the board with a k4600, where it works flawlessly. I've done a cap kit, and I just don't know what to do next. I'm at my wits end. I was told it might be the ha1122 IC501, but it looks like someone before me had already done that. There weird thing is that it lost the horizontal roll that it used to have, now it's just a still jumbled picture, but it works fine hooked up to the k4600. Take a look...any help would be appreciated, I want to keep this pac original!

Normally, if I would leave it off, or cycle the power enough, it would go back to normal..but nothing is making it go normal..

I haven't, but they all seem to be fine. Before today it would always be completely random loss of sync. I could play it for hours, days even, before it would go out, then some times it would go out constantly, it would go out for hours, then some days minutes, and even split seconds. Would bad pots do that?

I've seen that exact issue on my G07 and replacing pots fixed it.
Even if pots "seem" like they are good, they can be bad. Cracks can be so tiny, they are undetectable.
I'd replace all of them while you are at it.

check for cold solder first....while the game is on push on the pot you think is giving you trouble, if the picture clears up your solder joints are cracked...if not replace all pots.

So I reflowed the solder on all the pots, and adjusted them, and got the picture back...but I'm still afraid that it will start scrolling again like a loss of sync at any minute...should I replace IC501, along with the pots?
