prepping pinball for movers

Remove the pinballs.
Lift the playfield and remove anything loose inside.
If it has a foldable backbox, then fold the backbox down.

I would suggest putting a towel and some cardboard between the backbox and the cabinet so it doesn't rub hard.

Personally, I would also strap the backbox down and remove the legs. Takes up much less space and is much much easier for them to move then just using a dolly.

go buy a bunch of straps, blankets, cardboard and shrink wrap. Wrap them like your going to ship them. The easier you make it for them to move them, the less likely they will damage them. So maybe leave the straps in a way they can use the grip the pin(I doubt they will use ratchet straps to move them).

Before folding the top down, look at retaining the light board so it will not rub against the back side of the back glass or translight. The latch that holds the light board closed can be held in the locked position by putting a "shipping screw" in the latch slot, as it was when shipped from the factory. When looking at the latch, you can probably see the hole where the original shipping screw was located. Denny

my pins are Incredible Hulk and Evel Knevil
so the heads dont fold down.

so just take out the pinballs, use cardboard and blankets and take off legs , and strap head to pin body (take off head obviously lol)
