SuperAuction is in a week and I'm going to try and get a Pin, but I don't know what goes in to breaking one down for transport. Last time I was at SuperAution I watched a guy from a distance remove the legs and fold down the backglass box but I'm betting their is more to it than that. Can someone give me some more details on the process and what tools I will need for the job.I have a 2007 Jeep Cherokee and with the seats down it looks like a Pin would fit perfectly but I would like to know for sure.

the backbox needs to be folded down with a piece of cardboard between it and the pf glass and shrink wrapped, then take the back legs off one at a time at which point you stand it up and remove the front legs:)

as for fitting in a jeep......im pretty sure it will

REMOVE THE BALLS!
Do not forget this very important detail. I put them in the coinbox with any other loose bits and pieces that maybe laying around the bottom of the machine. Its common to find old plastics, or screws or bits of wire or other assorted parts in the bottom of a game.

You will need a socket or wrench to remove the legs. I've not been to an auction, so I don't know if all machines show up with the doors unlocked or with keys. So, if it was my first auction I would take a basic tool kit with screwdrivers as well, and a drill set.

I'd like to add a couple things to the above. If machine will be transported laying down with head rested ON TOP of the body there's not much need to shrink wrap it. But you most certainly want a thick blanket or card board between head and body. AND REMOVE THE BALLS! As far as loading up if possible use two people. These are heavy as hell. Lift the cabinet up and set bottom of cabinet on the corner of the tail gate. Have person #2 stabilize. You remove one rear leg and have person continue to stabilize while you remove the other rear leg. Now both of you working together will slide machine into vehicle right up till it just about touches the front legs. At this point person #2 cracks open a beer and watches you remove the front legs. Push pin all the way in and down the road you go.

Sounds like your speaking from experience, #2 cracks open a beer and watches ^^^

How do I remove the balls. is it from the front of the machine or the back.

You will need to unlock the lockdown bar and take it off, pull the playfield glass off, lift up playfield and prop up the stick (to hold playfield), and remove the ball(s) from ball trough by using your index finger pushing up on the switch. You should discharge the ball(s) and get new one(s).
