Update
Just got off the phone with Bill's girlfriend. He is out of surgery and awake. They only removed 20-25 percent of the mass..they think that it can be monitored through MRI and the seizures controlled with meds. We will have the biopsy results in 5 days or so to see what exactly the tumor is.
Good news is he has feeling on both sides of his body and can move both sides as well and he is up talking, etc.
Please keep him and his family in your prayers as he recovers and as we wait to find out what he is dealing with and everything that lies ahead

I don't know how I missed this thread, but all the best to SGG and his family. I had a friend in Chicago years ago that had a tumor removed and started having petite mal seizures years later. Last I heard, they managed to control the seizures with medication and he has his life back. Here's hoping that if SGG has any issues they can be controlled with medication.

Also I do not know him or his family but you may want to check and see how they are doing dollar wise and if there is anything the Klov brother hood can do. Donations may be in order.

A tumor is no joke and I hope that everything will work out. As I'm currently recovering from a third surgery regarding a tumor, man, I hope he's got good care. It sounds like he does.

Thanks again for all your thoughts and prayers. I was just released from the hospital today and I'm resting comfortably at home. As Josh was saying the surgeon only took 30 percent of the mass which relieved pressure on my brain but didn't risk costing me any functionality because the mass was/is located on the left side of my brain. From what he was saying, it's looking like a low grade tumor and there's no guarantee I'll need anything else done beyond this surgery. I'll know more next week when the results of the biopsy come back. For now I'll just be taking it easy and be off of work at least next week. Thanks again everyone for your thoughts and prayers. It's been very much appreciated.
