Prayer request for SuperGunGuru

Best wishes to him. His life changes now though. Guy here at work had a seizure in my arms basically. Forced to temp disability, and DL suspended for 6+ months. And so embarrassed he can't even talk to me anymore.

hope he keeps his chin up! think positive!
Will keep Bill in my thoughts and prayers.

Hello, everyone

I didn't expect to be posting, but my sister let me borrow her laptop. I have to say I'm still somewhat in shock over what has happened and hearing the doctor talk about a worse case scenario was pretty scary. When I step back and really look at it, we don't have any realy bad news yet. You never want to have a tumor in your brain, but I take comfort in the fact that one test the surgeon did at least could suggest the tumor is not aggressive. I'm hoping for a well defined area for him to remove on Thursday morning and of course I want to go home to finish whatever recovery I have to do. What kspiff said about his co-worker not driving for 6 months is true. I"ve already been told that's one of my restrictions, but I still have a way to get to work each day and I'm confident I'll have a job to go back to in spite of having just started there barely under a month ago. Life can sure catch you off guard when you least expect it.

@JoshBrown80: It really means a lot to me for you to start a prayer request on KLOV. I feel better overall than I did earlier and I know Sara will keep you updated on Thursday. I wish we could have spent more time together when you were in town last week and I realize more than ever why it's so stupid to get upset about the little things in life. :(

@SuperGunGuru

I hope everything works out, I really do. My brother-in-law had a seizure 2 years ago and they found a tumor in his brain as well. His was the size of a golf ball and they were able to remove it. He just finished his final chemo treatment last week and is doing great. It is amazing what modern medicine can do.

Stay positive my friend and be strong, I'll be sure to send a prayer your way.

SuperGunGuru,

So sorry to hear of your misfortune. I hope you get the very best possible outcome on Thursday!

I will be hoping and praying for the best possible results SuperGunGuru. I know you are in Michigan, and I don't know you personally, but if there is anything that I can do to help you or your family, please let me know. I have another very close friend in the ICU right now, and it is moments like this that make us look at our own lives and want to make the most of every minute and help others that are trying to do the same.

Please let me know if there is anything that I, or the Michigan arcade collective, can do to help you or your family out.

Zach

My cousin had a brain tumor 1/6 the size of his brain and they were able to remove it and he is doing great. Still flying his plane down to Mexico for fishing trips regularly, stay positive, with modern medicine you will be on your feet in no time.
