Curious what cmv is on a single screen vs unit stocked with 3 marios and various other popular titles. I'm still green in this business and don't want to overvalue something i'm looking to purchase. plus there doesn't seen to be a lot of cabs for sale in my area so it seems prices are a little higher than average...

Pc10

For PC 10 machines it's the dual displays that fetch more money. Some convert them to Punch Out or Super POs. In this economy they are still selling cheap perhaps $500.

A single PC10 in an odd cabinet maybe $300... depends on the cabinet, the conversion and the games included. Include a picture next time.

Probably closer to $500 if its dedicated and in pristine condition. I acually believe the single monitor PC appeals more to some collectors, since its not as tall and requires less maintenance. I know if I had my choice of the 2 I'd probably go with a single monitor. If its a vs. conversion then I'd agree with $300 or so. Of course its always a variable depending on what games are in it.

don't have pics. this was verbal from a local seller. cab and monitor are in good shape (from what I'm told). seller wanted a lot more than that so I wanted to make sure we were working with honest pricing for the market. thanks for the education.

I agree that a single monitor dedicated is more desirable. And, IMO, harder to find.

I think they are both $300 - $500 games assuming they look good and are loaded with some good games. I don't value one above the other and think the single monitor dedicated is a nicer machine.

About the same I'd say. Maybe a few bucks more but only if its working all the way. And I agree with everything John just mentioned.

how much would you tack on if it comes with the light gun? or does that subtract?

Personally, I think the light gun is an eye sore and the cab is usually drilled and messed up because of it. I think it is a minus. I will not blemish my machines with one.

Same here. I have a gun kit, but I don't plan on installing it in my Vs. cab. It wouldn't make sense if I'm making it display as a Vs. The Goonies. Most of all, it would look ugly and I'd have to drill hole on the underside of the CP housing.

I like having my gun kit, but I'm just going to hook the gun up through the coin door opening if I want to use it. It's really easy to hook up. In the meantime, it will be detached and stored somewhere close by. But honestly, I'll be playing non-gun games more than gun games.

Seller says it's a single screen with working light gun. Comes with super mario, super mario 2, goonies, rushn attack, hogans alley, rygar, and 4 others. cabinet has no damage. Based on what I read above, I'm guess $450 to $500 would be a fair price. thoughts?

Yeah $400-$500 is OK. My buddy paid $300 for his, and it was very nice and had about 20 games in it.
