Considering a Defender upright available locally for $200.

That a decent price for one?
Not much info on it, but believe it is working and complete.

I don't understand how anyone asks if $200 or less is a good price for any working game. Defender is a good classic that is well worth $200 in working condition. If you've heard of it, it's not beat to hell, it's working, and you want it then go for it already!

Since there are "only" 358 known instances of these owned here, they appear very common compared to other games I own, where I have paid less than $150 each, most much less, excluding the dart board.
The old saying goes, the idiot is the one who doesn't ask when unsure. (OK, maybe that's just my saying).
Will be calling the guy tomorrow.
Looks like it is missing all of the side and front art, and can't tell if it is the original CP or not from the pics I have.
It may not even be in working order, I won't know until I call him.
I tend to get bored with some machines after about a year, so was considering if I could at least get my money back when done with it.
Thanks for the input.

FYI, Defender art was stenciled on, so if it is "missing" then it was likely painted over at some point. $200 for a working Defender in decent condition would be a good deal. Your description of the "missing art" leads me to worry as the only reason(s) I can think of to paint over it is to convert it or if it were beat to heck. Good luck!
