Hello, everyone. I have just found out that a close loved one is requiring surgery, and because of that I have to look into selling most of my collection. Now, I have had most of these games for years and since I have had no intentions of selling them before, I haven't kept up on the current prices for them. I am not looking to make a killing on them, but I would like to know the fairest prices for both parties. Below is a list of everything, including some parts I will also be getting rid of.
Robotron - 8/10. Sideart is beautiful. Minor bezel flaking, but it is to be expected. The 2p button is threaded at the bottom so that the tightening screw won't hold it in place, but it is still functional.
Aliens - 5/10. Game is in a generic Dynamo cab. I use this as my Jamma setup so the control panel has the standard Street Fighter 2 setup (2 sticks and 6 buttons each). The cabinet itself is designed to have a vertical 25" monitor, but a standard size horizontal monitor has been jury rigged into the cab. No sideart.
Elevator Action - 6/10. Standard cabinet scrapes and bangs, but plays fine. It looks like the top got wet at one point, since there is a bit of swelling, but no major damage. At one point someone installed a new CPO on it, but their aim wasn't the best and it isn't lined up straight.
Dragon's Lair - 7.5/10. I hate to let this one go, but I need the money. The cabinet is solid. Sideart is present but isn't perfect. It looks like someone splatterpainted the sides of the cabinet in a thin, latex based paint to cover up something, and they crudely went around the sideart. Runs off of a Sony player with the conversion card installed.
Dragon's Lair 2 - 9/10. Cabinet is in great shape. Plays great with no problems.
Bosconian - 8/10. Cabinet is in very good shape. Kickplate art is intact and looks good Plays fine.
Major Havoc - 3/10. Conversion in a Tempest cabinet. The bottom of the cab has some water damage, which has caused the sides to flare out on the bottom. Structurally sound, but not to pleasing to look at. When I got the game, a previous owner had hacked the wiring all to hell in order to run the MH boards on the Tempest wiring. I replaced the bad hack job and reinstalled an original Tempest wiring harness, then picked up a conversion board for the MH boardset. Plays great. The speaker in the cabinet has come free from it's mounting and doesn't work, if I remember correctly. This game has been a project of mine for awhile (had been looking for a better Tempest cabinet) but I have to let it go.
Donkey Kong - 7.5/10. Has a DK/DKjr boardset installed. Cabinet is very solid, but no sideart. New t-molding.
San Francisco Rush the Rock Alcatraz Edition - 6/10. Sit down racer. Cabinet is decent but shows it's time in an arcade. Now, this game is in my basement arcade and it was quite an experience getting it down my stairs without killing someone. I am not guaranteeing it would even come back out of the house in one piece, but I am curious how much it would be worth, even parted out.
Ms. Pac/Galaga Class of '81 Standup - 10/10. This game is beautiful. Literally HUO, only two owners. I picked it up in an estate sale from a gentleman who used to run a few pizza places. He had bought it for his grandchildren to play and when he died they just threw it into the restaurant auctions.
Mario Bros widebody - 6.5/10. Cabinet is solid. Sideart is present, but in normal "used" condition. The control panel has some rust spots coming through, so it doesn't look the best, but the game plays absolutely fine.
Now for the parts:
Dragon's Lair 2 PCB
A set of NOS Dragon's Lair 2 Sideart
Space Ace '91 Laserdisc
A couple of Dragon's Lair Special Edition Laserdiscs
One or two Space Ace Discs
I know this is quite a bit to go through, but I appreciate any help given. Thanks again.
