OK, I picked up a 720 degrees cabinet that was converted into a neo geo cabinet. I am doing a PQ because my intentions are to MAME it, and I had no idea what this thing was when I bought it. So I am trying to see if there is interest enough to sell the cabinet and find another one to MAME since restoring this game is not my goal. Pics below. The cabinet it self is in good shape except for the wood damage by the monitor which you can see. I do have the glass for the monitor area. Please note the original structure was modified in the control panel area. You can see from the pics. The speakers are original and they work, as far as the speaker cover, the metal was sanded in parts, then covered with red decals to make it look like a neo geo cabinet. It needs to be redone. I also have the plexi peice that goes in the middle of the metal marquee. This, however, was attached with tape under the Neo Geo decals. I have the coin door, mechanism, and bucket, not 100% sure if it works though. I also have the access panel for the monitor, but I do not have the access panel for the bottom part of the cabinet. That is missing. As you can see from the pics, there is nothing on the bottom, there were some broken office chair wheels, but I took those off because I was going to put leg levelers on there. No T-molding on the bottom either, I ripped that off because it was in bad shape. Also, most of the cabinet is cover with a textured paint, I do not know what the original covering is like. Again, I'm just trying to get a feel for if it is worth it for me find another cabinet to MAME and let someone restore this one, otherwise I'm going to continue on with my MAME'ing plans. Flame me if you will.

I don't think that's worth restoring to a 720. IMO, you should do what you want with it - MAME or otherwise. And I'm a huge fan of 720 and restorations in general.

OK, I am going to take that as the go ahead then. I wasn't sure and I didn't want to ruin something if other people wanted to restore it. Not that I am going to ruin it, its pretty much going to stay in its basic form now, so it will be just as restore-able in the future as it is now. Thanks for the input. Oh and if anyone has any ideas for the marquee area, let me know.
