Hi,

I haven't really been following arcade prices for the past few years and I have the opportunity to pickup a set of linked Sega Outrun 2 cabinets. Both work 100%, no screen issues but have your typical cabinet scrapes/dings. What is a good price for the pair as well as one unit? They are local so shipping is not an issue. Any help or advice would be greatly appreciated.

Thanks!

If you could get the set for $1000, you'd be doing real good. One of the most fun next generation drivers. The key is to get them together. DON'T BREAK THEM UP! The game is not as much fun without the second driver racing you, and odds are, it'll be a while before you find another one to match a single.

Man, these cabs go for a lot more than that here in the UK. If I could pick up an OR2 twin for $1000 I'd be adding to my collection. You're looking at more like 3-4000GBP (5-6000USD) over here for a twin.

I notice there's different versions of the cab over in the US. There's a wooden sided version and a much nicer plastic-sided version that looks like the UK/Jap spec machines.

I imagine the cab type would make a difference on price.

I saw a plastic sided version up on ebay.com for 1500USD a while back but not sure if it sold (can't check right now as I'm at work at the bay is banned!).

Get one, it's a great game :)
