From the isolation transformer Ive got 2 wires going to AC on the power supply and a ground going to FG. These are just household 120 right? I should be able to wire a receptacle to this to power whatever correct? I want to make this work with the least amount of modifications to existing wiring so I can revert back later :) Im going to use J-Pac so the power supply will be unused and disconnected.

Are you using a real arcade monitor, or a computer monitor? The isolation transformer is only needed for powering an arcade monitor. And yes, the input to the isolation transformer is regular 120vAC wall current. FG goes to the ground prong on the power cord.

I'm going to be using a real arcade monitor and I'm going to use the J-pac and Arcadevga. If I'm understanding what I have read so far correctly, the jamma main power supply converts 120vac to 12vdc for the jamma board and also 5vdc for the coin door lights. I also read that I need to isolate the wires coming off the isolation transformer that feed into the main power supply because leaving the main power supply powered up with no Jamma board connected might damage the main power supply. I figured since I'm going to isolate the wires coming from the transformer I might as well turn that into a receptacle I can use to power speakers or whatever else inside the cabinet so I don't have to run a separate cord into the cabinet. Im just trying to make sure I wont be damaging the transformer in any way and I want to make sure the voltage coming off the transformer is regular 120vac. I haven't measured the voltage coming out of the transformer since my game is in pieces at the moment. I just thought someone might be able to confirm what I have read online and plus im a total noob when it comes to Arcade stuff in general :)

The main power supply should be powered from the wall directly. The isolation transformer should power only the monitor and nothing else.

the existing power for the arcade monitor monitor will work fine. 120VAC is already going through the isolation transformer. The only issue is with the power supply not being under load since you are not powering a game board. You either have to add a resistor to create a load, or disconnect...something (it has been too long, I can't remember exactly). There should be instructions on Ultimarc's site; if not, email Andy and he will be able to tell you exactly what needs to be done.

Except for the load issue, the jpac takes care of any wiring issues when using a jamma cab.
