Power issue Super Pac Man

I just purchased a Super Pac Man, on power up the only thing that happens is the marquee light and coin door lights come on. All the fuses are good, beyond that I don't really know where to start, this is the first game I've purchased. Looiking for any help to get me off the ground. Thanks in advance.
 
No neck glow, 128 v from the iso transformer to the G07 chassis, and from what I can see it looks like the fuses are good on the chassis board (I can't get the meter in to measure and the HV warnings make me a little nervous!). The power supply fuses are good as well. Is there something else that can be checked prior to pulling the video board out? Is that the next step? Based on what I've read it seems like a problem area. Thanks.
 
Does the game power on? Can you play it blind? Will it coin up and play? Do you have another video game with another known working monitor that you could test on this game?
 
The game powers up and the marquee and coin lights light and thats it. No sound or video.
 
No sound means your switching power supply is probably toast. Do you know how to test the edge connector on your game board to see if you have 5v? Or better yet test your switcher?
 
Fuse 901 is blown on the chassis board, just found that tonight. From what I have read this machine has a liner power supply not a switching supply is that wrong? No, I not sure how to check that voltage. I'll start researching that. Thanks for the help.

Unless someone has messed around with the machine and put a switcher in there, the original supply is a linear. The best place to check the power supply is on the game pcb itself. Sometimes there are test points on the board for power, but that's mostly Atari games that I've seen that on. What I do is take the power supply reading at one of the 74XX TTL chips. You have to be careful not to slip with your meter leads.
