Powder Coating in Philly area...

Got some pics of pieces they have done along with prices? How fast turnaround? I've also been looking for something in the area...

I second this. I'm just curious what type of prices I should be assuming for some coin doors/monitor brackets/etc.

Thanks.

Powder coating

I paid a total of $150 for:

12 brackets
4 coin doors
40-50 bolts

They gave me a bulk price but I think it was like $1 per bolt, $5-6 per bracket and $10 per coin door.

There's an issue with the site uploading pics right now so I will add them later when it's resolved.

Brackets & bolts. The went the extra mile and cleaned up the threaded portions of the coin doors and bolts.

Did that include all the prep before powder coat was applied or did you do the prep?

prep...

I just dropped off all the parts and they did everything.

I did strip off the plastic items (coin inserts/returns) on the coin doors as they can't be powder coated. I did not ask them to do any repairs to dents, dings, etc. The stuff I dropped off was pretty good in that regard already.

So I guess that means they blasted the metal to remove old finish. That's what I was wondering.

I just got my first batch back from these guys. Really turned out nice. The Centuri logo plate they did came out awesome. I'll post pics later.

After restoring many cabs and painting these parts, this is the way I'm going from now on. Really looks good.

That seems like a good price. I was about to try Quality Performance but on the phone they quoted me around $100 per cab.

What was their turnaround?

i know those guys, thats where i get mine done. its no more then 2 minutes away.. the more you bring, the cheaper it is... Your NEW to them thats why.. I get a hell of alot more done from them for 100.00
