Yep, I'd be in for at least 4 doors, but I'd need to know a few details. Cost, shipping charges and does he have a good method for hinges and for the small threaded holes? My local powdercoater puts the powder coat on too thick at the hinges causing it to crack when I work the hinge loose. I also end up twisting the heads off of the tiny screws as he powdercoats right over the threads. I was gonna give him another shot with special instructions, but I'd send half of the doors to you if reasonable.
I have a company in my area that I had powder coat a coin door I took off a tempest. The three screws at the top on the inside of the door that hold the coin mechs and everything, he has something that he puts over the threads so they do not get powder coated. The hinges on this door comes apart, I am not sure this is true on all doors, he took it apart for me because he realizes it has to be powder coated apart. He put it back together when it was done. When I got it back it was very nice. The guy really payed attention to what I needed and what he needed to do to make it work for me. He had never done a coin door before mine.
The price was high I thought because he sand blasts the paint off the entire door and has to charge me for this of course.
To sand blast and powder coat each door is $27.50. (too high for most I think).
If you have all the paint off the door, the entire door inside and out, then it is only $12.00 per door to powder coat if I bring him 10 at a time. (not too bad if you have a quick and easy way to get all the paint off the door)
