Hello all,
I picked up a Star Wars Trilogy with controller issues recently. I ordered replacement pots for it and sat down to replace them. I hate to seem totally ignorant, but how do you remove the round "plug" attached to the pot's shaft? Is there a set screw holding them on or what exactly? This is my first foray into controller repair/pot so please forgive my ignorance, I also don't want to force something I shouldn't, etc. Can anyone point me in the right direction to getting these off? Thanks in advance for any help.

I don't know specifically about this game, but typically the pot is held into a mount by a thin hex nut on the shaft side. Sometime there is a washer in there also, so when you take it apart make sure you look at what comes out so you can put it back together.

The pot is usually positioned into the holder by a notch. This keeps the pot from twisting (along with the nut).
