Posters for the gameroom

I just go with 45RPM record covers primarily. I have thousands of 45s, and pull the cooler covers to put up.

The Judy Collins threw me at first...but then XTC brought me right back. Nice selection, games and sleeves.

That does indeed look amazing. I had researched getting quality lit ones a while back since I have some great genuine movie posters (that are reverse printed on the back as well). But I came to the conclusion that I'd be better off mounting a 55" TV for the same price (or less) and getting a $30 Firestick to cycle between movie posters.

P.S. - I am super jealous though. But I can't justify pulling the trigger on even just 1.

Lighted frame - $400
How it looks - Priceless.

They sell these 18" x 24" LED frames on eBay for about $145 ($265 for 24" x 36")
I put a used Twilight Zone pinball translite in this one

Ok?
Just giving some low cost options for people that don't want to break the bank on some game room wall decorations.
Good Luck
If you're looking for low-cost stuff, there's a couple of stores that sell decent frames dirt cheap.

Walmart: Movie poster frames for like $20 bucks. Quality is decent and looks way better than no frame.
Hobby Lobby/The Christmas Tree Shop - Smaller frames but also cheap. I've picked up some nice small ones for $3 each.

That's actually a decent wine.

Walmart has 27" X 40" Movie Poster Frames, for $20.00
Where?

Looks like the prices went down. Pretty inexpensive
I usally looked for the 14" x 36" frames,which are like a minimum 30 bucks a pop.
You would think Walmart would carry Insert & Half sheet size frames? but they don't.
🤔
They would probably sell a heck of a lot of those frames. More manageable poster sizes

The 22" x 28" Half sheet is a good size

Looks like Walmart does carry 22"x28" frames, I will have to pick a couple up
Opps not available
Now I remember, That was the deal, they never have any in stock.

I had that DK one, a Joust one, and a few others... but can't find them anymore.

I collect original horror movie posters from the late-70's onward.

Early on, I got some of them professionally framed, but I go to lots of conventions and get them signed - so I've switched to front-loading snap-in frames. I buy these: https://www.spotlightdisplays.com/

I'm also a big fan of Baroque portfolios for storing posters not in use. They're a little spendy, but high-quality and with acid-free/archival sleeves: https://www.baroqueportfolios.com/

Some of the originals in my collection (all signed - most by lots of people - let me know if you want to see any pics):

Halloween 1-6, plus Rob Zombie's Halloween and Halloween 2018
A Nightmare on Elm Street 1-5 and Freddy vs Jason
Friday the 13th 1-8 and the the 2009 remake
The Thing
Scream 1, 5, and 6
The Return of the Living Dead
The Monster Squad
Creepshow
The Howling
Dawn of the Dead
Grindhouse
Escape from New York
Christine
The Texas Chainsaw Massacre Part 2
Demon Knight
April Fool's Day
From Beyond (Portuguese version)
My Bloody Valentine
Candyman
House of 1000 Corpses
The Thing prequel

...and lots of others I'm forgetting off the top of my head.

Would love to see the Christine one.

I collect 1930s precodes, 1940s noirs and a few favorite directors and actors. I gave up framing at about 12 posters, too much $$ and I like to swap out images. I found a good linen-backer in Chicago who usually works for museums and institutions there, convinced him to do stuff for me. You can buy not-perfect posters and have them nicely linen-backed, they end up looking great.

Nothing posted in the game room (the wall space is for games) but this is the stair case to my office. Its a good space for old three-sheets which measure about 40" by 85" after backing. This one is a framed permanent installation and is 37" x 81" before framing.

Is there a modern app that will take an image, then break it in to say 12 segments to print out and "paste" together to create a poster sized version of the image? I know back in the day years ago I came across such an app... don't remember the name... and it was called a "program" back then... but I digress...

;)

The old 'Program" I use from 2011 is EasyStitch. If you want that executable PM me.

Now everyone wants you to go to the cloud, just google 'online image stitcher.'
