In honor of Phets kickass "Post Your Best LIT Arcade Pics" I figured I'd post a separate "Post Your Best UNLIT Arcade Pics" thread so as to not clutter up his nice LIT post with UNLIT photos...

Basically... I had a couple cool shots I wanted to post and figured I'd start this thread up...

As of today:

With no lights, you can walk into my gameroom at noon on the sunniest day of the year at noon and this is what you'll see. Its a pit. You can kind of make out the white start buttons on the MAME cab. I swear this is a real pic I just took.

Now this thread would be easier for me to participate in since I don't have enough outlets to plug all my games in at once. :)

My Mancave
(I no longer have the 4 slot neo geo (SOB!)

I still play my Blitz about 3 times a week, my Golden Tee (yes, I know it's an oldie) at least a couple. The Metal Slug 2 is actually a 1-slot and has a 108-1 cartridge

The Xevious has a 48-1 inside (don't worry, all the original guts are still inside too)

Slot MAchine works absolutely PERFECT!

He wants pics with games turned off?

Can I vote this worst thread ever? Most boring atleast?

Geez...is this threads concept REALLY that hard?

The games don't need to be turned off... just not 'night' shots like in the Phet thread... Phets photos above are a great example...

The Drewcade is in complete and utter chaos right now. Too many games, too much garbage, not enough time to fix it. Embarrassing....

I feel like I crapped on poor Friz's thread right out of the gate.

I don't have a "best" unlit picture, but here is a right now unlit pic. The Zaxxon just took the Moon War's spot, so shuffling around is in progress.

Much like bars, perhaps gamerooms are things best not seen in daylight... I look at my room and I see unfinished trim, cords around the baseboard, pinball parts stashed under the machines.

All the little flaws disappear when the regular lights go off and the blacklight is on. Of course, thats also why I never bother fixing them! ;)

Glad to see the Moon War is still there :)

The asshole that sold you that could at least have made a back door for you

I'm at a critical juncture here. I'm changing over from "buy anything" mode to creating a list of specific games I need to have (its either that, or ditch a very comfy leather couch). Moon War will always stay, but might see duty as Super Cobra/Scramble/Time Pilot/Gyruss... No hacking, just board swaps to other vert Konami Classic stuff.

Still the single greatest arcade deal I've gotten, and hope I can someday return a favor with needed parts, etc.

LOL, no worries :) It was just sitting down there collecting dust :) Was glad it went to a good home where someone could appreciate it and get it working! I was unaware you could run all those games in it, that's really cool.
