Post- NW Pinball and Gameroom Show pics/ stories

2. Quantum. There were quite a few of us having a good time with that game. Corky managed to get the fast repeating circle technique down, so every day he got to draw a new masterpiece, adding details like hair, veins, etc...

quantum was by far my favorite game at the show. i can see why its a grail for so many people. some call the circle trick cheating, against the spirit of the game, etc, but once you get to level 13+ the game gets stupid hard. i think its necessary to milk as many points as possible in the first few levels to have a fighting chance at getting a decent score and being able to draw a dick. thanks for donating it for the weekend, chris!

I made it to the guys that are linked in Quantum... not sure what level, but my game went downhill fast once I got there.

Great pics guys!

Still awaiting the SMAC group photos and of course, the Big Mother photo with all the KLOV,SMAC, and PAC guys. Who took the picture and when will it appear here?

There were several people taking pictures. I think that most are probably still sleeping after so much effort was put into such a great show.
We put the last game on the trucks at 2:30am Monday morning. I got my games Monday at 11am and the driver still had to re-fuel and deliver his truck back.
I'll bet they start to show up soon:)

I had a good time. Sore, but worth it.

Thanks for all the pictures everyone. Wish I could have made it up, but my friend decided to big league me and buy box seats for the UFC fights in Vegas last weekend. I did get to visit the Pinball Hall of Fame, though, and it was awesome! My friends are all making me search for a Track and Field cocktail now. Hope I make it next year.

i didn't take any pictures (except a couple of camera phone shots of my 4-year old son playing Black Knight 2000) as in past years there have been plenty from other people.

it was great to meet Rich, Charger, Brick Top and a bunch of the PAC guys i hadn't met before. i wish i'd met a bunch more of you (Gozer, the guys who came up from Cali or down from CA, etc.) and maybe next year we can do a dedicated KLOV/SMAC/PAC meal event where we can all get together and introduce ourselves. although considering the numbers we have now that might be tough.

one special bonus was meeting [the infamous] TexasHotShot. Scott seemed to be a pretty cool guy (if a typical Texan) and it was great to put another face to a name.

i'll reserve most my comments about the show itself as it's hard to see it objectively after putting so much time and effort into the execution. suffice it to say most of us SMAC people who worked on it are pretty happy with how things went while the show was open. i was even ok with how the mixing of pins and vids turned out despite my skepticism beforehand. a few minor tweaks and i think we'll have the space running nearly perfect, just in time to move to a new venue the year after.

Looks great, keep the pics coming and some video too please :)

Would love to come over next year...Rich, please bring the VP2.0 again :p

Would love to have one of those posters...any still available ?

Everyone was great. I want to thank all the people who helped unload and took the games inside. It was a long day that started in Oregon about 5 am, and to pull up and have you guys just start helping was wonderful. Can't wait for next year, if you let us wild Oregon PAC member's join in. LOL There are a few more picture's on the photobucket link..Thanks again.. Darrell

Was that the guy from Texas who broke the Mr Do's Castle record on my Mr Do cab??? It was cool that he came to the show to set the record, and doubly cool that it was on my machine. :)

Man, that looked like one cool show! One of these years I'll make it up your guys' way.

Heck, next year I just wanna go for the entire weekend. Need to find a better babysitter than my parents. I mean, they're family, and free...but, you know...they suck.

TY Eric A for these Pics he sent me though FB this afternoon!

3 Pics of me and my WR TRYS ON DKJR.

I'm pretty sure i had this shirt on when you saw me playing DKJR on Saturday .

Friday was on like Donkey Kong, Saturday was the one in the pics.

Sunday was the DK Barrel Level Shirt.
Nice! Never saw the shirt. Classic.

I can see corky walking behind you too.

Yup. I remember the color of the shirt, just missed what was going on down on it. I usually let my eyes wander to that territory strictly on women. LOL.

Kinda sad the event is just once a year.

No, but Patrick Scott Patterson did set the Mr Do's Castle world record on Debbie's Mr Do! machine. :D
