I might be picking up a Simpsons vid on a small deal. I have no interest in this game, and with space tight, I'd like to move it quickly. I should have pics in a day or so (I don't even know if it's dedicated or conversion, as I was more interested in the other games they had). I'm in the Evanston/Skokie area (just north of Chicago). It would be at a good price (which I need to see condition, dedicated or not, and my money out on the game). If you might be interested, let me know.

I would be interested (FUN game!), but due to size, i don't have any idea how I'd get it through a regular sized door....much less down stairs where my other machines are. If there are other "regular size" machines that you're getting and looking to move, go ahead and PM me. Thanks.

Joe, I might be interested as well on it. Would like to see some pics once you get it in. I'd have to see how funds are (as usual), but I've been looking to add a four-player cabinet.

FYI, the control panel comes off, which saves a good bit of width when going through doorways (I can get measurements tonight if you would like).

You can do it!!!! I though the same thing but got mine into the house, through the living room dining room, then down the stairs into the gameroom. I stripped it completeley along with the Cp and had 2-3 inches left on each side to get it through the door way. I also got an APB down there which is close to the same size but heavier. I moved both in by myself.

Good to know, thanks. I'd still like to see pics and price before deciding anything. You moved it down there by yourself? You must be a very strong individual. I couldn't even get a Dig Dug cabaret down there solo (surprisingly heavy).

Attached are a few pictures the guy sent me (I have more). He told me it's fully working. Things I note from the pictures:

560 – lower corner of left side cabinet has been damaged
563 – some black (paint?) is on side
555 – it appears to me that the flimsy marquee has cracks (they could be just creases I guess)
All – dedicated original with side art, certainly not mint, it has its scuffs. CP/CPO doesn't look bad. Don't know if there is a manual.

I looked on ebay for prices. People ask stupid money for this game, $2,495. Crazy. But I did find this BIN sale for $450:
http://cgi.ebay.com/KONAMI-SIMPSONS-ARCADE-GAME-REDUCED-2-SELL-PICK-UP-ONLY-/180618140094?pt=LH_DefaultDomain_0&hash=item2a0dae19be

The game in the ebay auction looks to be in noticeably better shape than this one. But I also think this game would clean up and look much better too.

I'd like to get $400 for it (assuming it is fully working as the guy says). Making a deal and picking up quickly would definitely be a priority for me. I can't really go any lower because the guy I'm getting it from won't go any lower. If no one wants it, I just won't take it as part of the deal. But if you are, let me know. I would probably get it this weekend and would like to make a deal and have it picked up this weekend too.

That looks like a nice machine, and a good price to boot. But it looks like I'm out of the running. Just picked up a couple cabs last night, so money's gone for a while. They're still not downstairs yet. Why, oh why do these machines have to be so heavy? (oh the humanity!)

I'm out of money as well, so wouldn't be able to get it. Finally found a 34inch widescreen hd crt tv for a good price last night, so any extra money I had went towards that. Dr. Mr. Pants, hopefully you can get it, looks to be in good shape and for a good price.
