I am contenplating selling my Black Knight machine. I know, these posts suck, and I sort of apologize in advance, LOL.

I have owned this since 2000. Original 1980 machine. Original playfield in very nice condition. Original backglass with some scratches, but very presentable. Boards have been reworked.

Game works most of the time. Had been having lockup issues randomly. 40 pin connector was replaced, and power suppy rebuild was completed as well, but still sometimes locks up.

Game currently powers up to test mode. You can manually go through the options (needs to be done twice) and game will go to attract mode and play. I am told this is an easy fix and will be looking into this further.

Just really getting some feelers for interest or value of the machine. I would LOVE to trade it for a working Black Knight 2000 or similar era or System 11 title (except Funhouse....don't ask).

Anyway, at this point I am on the fence. Interest? Opinions?

Here are some older pics of the BK that I have, will post newer ones if sale progresses:

Have you installed new batteries in the machine? I had a whirlwind that did the same thing when I pulled the battieres out.

Also: Take some novus and wax to that PF!

Yes, I have replaced the batteries. This is a board issue. Those are older pics, I have hit the PF with wax since then :)

"or similar System 11 title (except Funhouse....don't ask)."

That's great considering Funhouse is a WPC not Sys11 :D

Value - who knows. The pictures don't really show much detail but if it were mine in fully working condition I would expect as little as $800 all the way up to $1400. Every area is truly different. I believe one reason you see pricing all over the place is if a machine that rarely comes up for sale in your area shows up, you'll be surprised how much you could make off of it.

Corrected my post :)

Thanks for the info. Not sure what I will be doing yet with the game though :(

So I guess I'm going to have to assume that Rudy scares you? :D

More than just a little bit, LOL.

I just never got into that game. I get why people would like it, it's just not my cup of tea. I'd probably piss everyone off if they knew I don't like many of the widebody machines (Twilight Zone, Indiana Jones, Demo Man, Judge Dredd, Star Trek Next Generation, Roadshow, etc). Just never acquired a liking for widebody games.

Much rather play a Bride of Pinbot or Black Knight 2000 :D
